Here's an Idea - If You Have Time

Next time you find yourself snowed in or maybe you're just stuck at home for whatever reason, get on Zazzle and start creating your recipe cards.
(1) Find a Zazzle recipe card you like. Better yet, make your own.
(2) Click to customize it.
(3) Begin typing your recipe onto the card, staying within the lines the best you can.
(4) Repeat, for as many recipes as you want.
(5) Add your cards to your shopping cart and purchase.

This takes a lot of time, but the result is a neatly typed (not handwritten - ugly if you write like me!) card that you can file away in your binder. These cards will be saved in your private folder on Zazzle so that they can be reprinted at any time for others!
Publish Post

Hint: Occasionally Zazzle has sales on their card items. Type recipes up and wait until the cards go on sale to purchase. Right after Christmas, their postcards (which is what some Zazzlers use to create their recipe cards) went on sale 75% off!

This is a recipe I typed up and purchased. Better Than Sex Pie!

Recipe Card Sleeves

Here are some sleeves that I found on Amazon that will hold your recipe cards. This one will hold recipe cards that are 5 x 7. My recipe cards are 4 x 6 so these sleeves will easily hold those are well.

Or here is one that will hold two 4 x 6 recipe cards and will fit any standard size binder. Check it out.

Zazzle Recipe Cards - Something to Write Those Recipes On

You're going to want something to put inside those binders. Like recipe cards for your recipes. Here are a few ideas:

My cards are printed on 4x6 postcards and are customizable meaning you can add your name. One side is glossy and so I set these up where your name will print on the glossy side. The other side is non-glossy so that you can write on them. Click the thumbnails to see the full product.

More Kitchen Binders

Here are two more binders I just created in the kitchen stripes series. These are too easy to make. Just make sure your canvas size in paint.net fits the recommended guidelines for Zazzle binders. Begin creating vertical stripes all the way down the canvas alternating colors as you go. If you get tired of alternating, simply cut and paste the work you have already done to fill up the rest of the space!

Checkerboard Recipe Binder

I have been pleasantly surprised by Zazzle and the amount of extra income I have made, especially over the Christmas holiday rush for gifts. I sure hope this trend continues over other holidays as well!! Time to start creating for Valentine's day!
